After being in business for two years and requests by many of our loyal customers, we have decided to come to you on the web to make it more convenient to shop with us in the privacy of your own home.

The Lingerie Lounge is a charming and chic lingerie boutique located in the touristy ski town of Mammoth Lakes, California. Now you may say to yourself, “Ski town, cold, snow, and lingerie…?” But many vacationing couples and locals have made this store one of their favorites for bringing back something for their loved ones, especially when they can make a romantic evening by a warm fire, a bottle of wine and a winter wonder land. The shop is the ultimate girlie girl destination. It’s filled with tons of fun, dainty, frilly pieces that are made from the softest of fabrics. We shop all across the U.S to find the best assortment of luxurious lingerie from various price points. No one should be excluded from being able to find beautiful lingerie. Some of our personal favorite items come from unique designers such as Wendy Glez, who is out of our very own City of Angels and Love Tanjane from Ojai, CA. They are known for their soft fabrics and unique designs that are truly some of the sexiest bedroom wear. You will never see anything like it anywhere else. Also, Loungewear Betty who is out of NYC, makes some of the sassiest, most adorable pieces replicating styles from the 40’s and 50’s. We have many favorites, but the list would go on…
The boutique is owned and operated by a mother and daughter team. Mother, Marlene Rheault and daughter, Alicia Provancher. The store was originally a high school economics project for Alicia and that’s when she discovered her dream of wanting to open up her own lingerie boutique. Marlene, a successful business woman herself who wrote computer software for 20 years, was always supportive and influential on Alicia’s future career decisions. Alicia went on to attend The Fashion Institute of Merchandising Marketing in Los Angeles for her love of fashion. When one of her professors assigned her a project that involved creating and developing a lingerie/loungewear store, she new it had to be fate! She knew this was what she was meant to do!
To make a long story short, a year after Alicia graduated from FIDM with a specialized degree in Merchandise Marketing and Marlene’s computer contracts ended, The Lingerie Lounge opened its doors in October of 2003 and the rest is history. With Marlene’s business experience and Alicia’s creative passion for fashion, a great team was formed and they can’t imagine doing anything different.
